2G Core Network Field Maintenance Engineer:

Functional Role: MS Engineer (NOC)

Location: Saudi Arabia

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 6 months (extendable)

Working Hours: 48 standard hours per week + additional hours as required

Job Description:

Support and repair with out delay to minimize disruption to the STC network.

Perform routine Maintenance duties.

Make regular test calls.

Check the RTTS system.

Prepare new local procedures for new equipment when required.

Help and advise local staff to carry out repair procedures as the Alex B modules.

Trouble shoots the CP, RP, APG40 all kind of faults with different revision of HW for example AXE10, AXE810, APZ21230, 33, 40, 50 .

Helping transmission faults from ET155-7, ET155-1, E-1 STM, ODF, DDF, ADM etc.

Emergency Handling, stoppage of the system, ECF (Exchange complete failure).

Trouble shooting MSC, BSC, HLR, STG, SCP all nodes.

Participate in technical discussions with the customer in order to gather product-related information.

Ensure installations meet the Ericsson Standards and all documents are available to STC, floor plans, labeling, C modules, and B modules are delivered.

Ability to use the following tools: TEMS Investigation, PMR, RTTS, WINFIOL, Microsoft office and XP, Alex.

Qualification :

The 3G Optimization Engineer should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years optimization experience and 3 years with Ericsson in telecommunication or related field.
